I been on the atkins about a week now, been really good about it too, lost maybe 8 pounds. This weekend i had a light beer (bud light) after i went to a bar that did not server alcohol (pool hall) earlier I was drinking (vodka/soda, gin/soda) liquor only. I noticed the beer tasted SUPER sweet. I mean REAL sweet. Is it because you dont eat sugars that when you even get a little you notice it ALOT??? This was totally bizzare to me. I think if i ate a donut right now it would taste like pure sugar

I also notice some things which i would not figure as being sweet normally taste sweet now, even water has this odd sweet taste. Is this normal??
