Default Back teeth are a'float!

I can't tell you how many people I've talked to who say they "never" drink water! When I try to tell them what an important nutrient water is, they will say things like, "Oh, I drink three or four cans of soda every day," or "I drink about a gallon of coffee. I'm taking in enough."

WRONG!!!!

Soda is not water, nor is coffee.

I drink between 100 and 140 ounces of water every day.

Although I've only lost about 10 pounds since I started this WOL four weeks ago, some of the nagging little things that used to bother me have stopped. Since a weight difference of only ten pounds couldn't possibly affect my arthritic knees very much, I have to assume it's the increase in water!

Also, Marlaine, I have to thank you for posting these stats! My mother died of colon cancer almost 11 years ago -- and although I have a screening every 3 years, it's nice to know that my water intake might help keep me from getting this terrible disease!
