You might also want to start taking measurements. They sometimes tell more than weight on the scale. I get more thrill and motivation out of inches gone than pounds gone. My measurements have dropped a whole 3.5 inches in the last week, yet I haven't lost a single pound.
There are all kinds of ways to tell if this is working for you, besides the number on the scale. The easiest, if you feel better, and your clothes are getting looser, then magical things are happening. Hang in there. You're making progress. Just stick to it and you will be rewarded.
