I'd sure like to have that list, too! I think it's hard because we each have different goals. The list of what to do needs to be based on the specific goal. What is your goal with the exercise? Is it to lose fat, or to build up strength, or just have a better looking body, or... ?

I'm not an expert, but I would think that you probably will want to build up to being able to walk all those stairs. Doing them after work sounds like a good idea when you want to do all of them. I've read where other people just start taking the stairs one flight at a time to build up to doing them all, so maybe that's an idea for you too. You could do that throughout the day rather than taking the elevator.

I would also think the stair climbing falls into the category of cardio more than resistance training. Although, that may depend on how out of shape you are. I would probably listen to my body if it were me. Start slowly and then add a bit more each day. When your body complains, then give it a day off.
