Well, the cornerstone of any successful program is going to be food. Supplemnts are just that - supplements. They will not make or break your progress. A number of my clients don't use anything outside of a protein powder, which could arguably be considered food as well.
And what do you mean by 'work'? What kind of effects are you hoping for when you take a supplement?
