Wow you've never heard of them!! I'm in shock! LoL. Go to a middle eastern restaurant or cafe, they'd dif have them. Even probably some time of festival. I first had mine when I was little at the Arts & Craft festival. In alot of pizza places in NYC they have them too, but I dont really know why! LoL. If you can't find them, then go on and make them yourself the LC way. Traditionally they are made some roasted meat, usually a combo of beef & lamb, but you can easily do all beef or all lamb. I've done it with chicken too, and it was just as good! In greece they also use Pork. I find ground beef is the easiest and cheapest method for at-home. Unless you have some left over bits of a beef, pork, or lamb roast.
