Years ago, I lost 50 on Atkins. Didn't count calories or anything, didn't even count carbs, really. Just ate basically induction foods, and eventually added a few carbs here and there as I got closer to goal. Plus exercised a few times a week. And had no low-carb frankenfoods, since they didn't exist at the time.
