I love this guy's site (www.theomnivore.com) which is notable for the humor, the good information, and his labeling grains "the sawdust group" which never fails to make me smile.

And yes, it never ceases to astonish me that when I go out and research something...it often turns out the truth wasn't what I thought...and with the money and influence floating around, I think health is one of those DIY concerns.
