I find that I definitely get an insulin response to sweet tasting things, even if they aren't technically "off plan". I try to avoid them at all costs. When I end up having them, I get hungry, tired, increased cravings, etc. And, I tend to put on weight instead of losing. But then there are some people who have no problems at all. It's definitely a YMMV thing...
