Dianna, a post-Induction stall is so common it's not funny. The first several weeks are heady. You lose maybe 6 to 10 pounds in two weeks, and then you figure it out . . . geez, at this rate, I'll make goal in x number of weeks!

Well, the human body ain't a machine.

When I did Atkins Induction, I lost a whopping 6 pounds during the first two weeks, and not a blessed pound more for over 2 months. When I started, though, I had a pair of jeans that I couldn't even budge over my hips. Two months later, after no losing another pound, I was able to slip those jeans over my hips and even zip them comfortably.

Just because you're not losing pounds doesn't mean you're not losing inches. Do yourself a favor and lose the scale. Instead, rely on measurements or even a good pair of jeans or a belt. Who cares what the number on the scale reads? Isn't it better to actually BE smaller?

But, even better than being smaller is being healthier, which you surely will be by sticking to a low-carb lifestyle.

Welcome aboard, and I wish you all the luck in the world. YOU CAN DO THIS!
