I came to terms with the fact that I REALLY needed to re-invent myself. I was displaying all the diabetic symptoms, but was too afraid to get tested. My dad and sister are diabetic (my dad inject insulin, my sister has tabs). I was determined not to follow in their footsteps. After almost 2 weeks on this WOE I tested in the normal range.

I feel so much better. My sweats (due to high blood pressure and elevated body temperature) have gone. Summer here in Sydney is hot enough without having to deal with high body temperature and beads of perspiration all the time (not too attractive either).

Oh, and it seems I am no longer allergic to my 9 month old kitten (named Monster, and it suits him).

I met a wonderful man (who I think will love me no matter how heavy or light I am) and I had a VERY successful year professionally.

Life's good, and getting better
