Thanks for your quick reply. When I made the turkey broth (from our Christmas turkey) I did not have anything else but water simmering all day. I added s small amount of onion, carrot and green beans and larger amount of celery about 20 minutes before I served it. Does this mean the carbs would be less that if I had simmered vegetables with the turkey bones etc.? I am hoping yes as our family loves soup and especially homemade.
