Vitamin C improves the absorption of other nutrients such as calcium. Vitamin D is also important when it comes to calcium absorption, that is why it is put in milk.

Green and red peppers are on induction and should be consumed for your vitamin C. These peppers have 2-4xs the amount of vitamin C that oranges have.
