Turnips!!! Never thought I would be eating a bowl of them and calling then faux mashed potatos! Here is what I do--and they are a little grainy. I boil them really well and then mash and whip with an electric beater adding real butter and salt and pepper and mayonaise. The mayo is important as it seems to make them fluffy--I also use the mayo trick in scrambled eggs (another topic). Then when well whipped, I add shredded parmesan or the shredded cheese called Italian Blend that's already packaged. Hope this helps. ~~bella
