Nope, it is the reduced carbs combined with the increased fat intake. Eating fat keeps you from feeling hungry. Each day I eat 70% fat, 5% carbs and 25% protien. I eat my Basal Rate (the # of calories needed for a body to function) of calories.
For snacks I will have a few macadamia nuts or 2 oz of cream cheese. Try it you will be amazed at how full you will feel. Remember to always drink lots of water - it helps you feel full in addition to many other wonderful benefits.
