Weight fluctuates daily by 4 - 5 lbs. Weight fluctuates weekly by just as many lbs. If you've been eating too little for too long your body will think more food is a sudden temporary change and it's going to hold on to what it can because it thinks it's not going to last; when it sees this is not the case it will adapt and beging burning fat.

10 - 12 times your body weight is what your body needs to function. 10 - 12 times your body weight is enough food that you do not deprive yourself. 10 - 12 times your body weight is something that you can sustain over time. Go ahead and eat less and in the end lose muscle mass; I am simply quoting the facts, I cannot make you eat.
