One of the thing they had me do a few days before I went in was have some advil; every 6 or 8 hours I'd take 2 with water. I had absolutely no swelling or bruising when my four were pulled. None of mine were impacted though; in fact all 4 were errupted.
Lots of sympathy and cold packs will help
