I'm sorry to hear that. That REALLY sucks.

But on the brighter side, go get the "Artist Market" style of books and see what places are taking photos. They usually list the contact person and guidlines in the book. You can find them in the local book store and probably library.

Also, if you do a search online for "jobs+freelance" chances are you'll find something you might find interesting. At least this is a chance to better your job. Usually when one door closes, something better comes that way.
