Bananas are pretty carb hefty for the nutrition you get out of them. I would try berries and melon first. I eat mine with cottage cheese and vanilla extract a lot of the time but that might be an aquired taste. Lately apricots have been the love of my life although I am pregnancy driven at the moment so my cravings shift from one thing to another. Smoothies are a great way to get in that fruit as well if it's not something you particularly love on it's own. I typically will use 1 cup of soymilk (you could use the carb countdown or skim, buttermilk or whatever you would like), 4 oz of yogurt (plain or flavored will do, but if you don't use flavored you might need a sprinkle of splenda) and 1/2 a cup of frozen/fresh fruit. Blend in a blender and add ice cubes until you get a thick milkshake consistancy.
