I had the same experience in the past with Zoloft, and I thought I was losing my mind for sure. I also cried buckets and had visual disturbances, ie; the world literally was slanted to one side. Thanks to a discerning doc, I got better.
My opinion is that the Docs know so very little about what constitutes a 'normal' nervous system, and they know even less about what causes or helps a depression. It is called practicing medicine for that reason.
