Vegemite like the inferior Marmite is fairly low carb yeast extract, but unfortuantely the best way to have it is on hot buttered toast - so perhaps you should save it for a low carb loaf. It is especially useful after a 'night on the tiles', but there are other ways to replenish vitamin B (so I have been told).
