One thing you can do is take them to a cleaners that has somebody that does alterations, or a tailor. My Mom did this for a while, and when she was here 8 weeks ago she took six inches out of the waist of 3 pairs of dress slacks for me. The cost to do this would be much less expensive than a new uniform.

I started at a size 56 and am still wearing the same slacks because of the alteration 60 lbs later. They are starting to get scrunchy again however, so I will have to buy a couple of pairs to get by with now......
