My wife's recipe for burgers:
Real beef [sirloin if you can get it] "augmented" with bbq-flavored spicy hot pork rinds [crushed]. Grilled on the bbq and topped with cheddar or american cheese.
Serve with Walden Farms no-food-value tomato ketchup or deli mustard [the kind that doesn't have any carb fillers!] and a little onion slices, kosher dill pickle slices, salt, pepper to taste.
No buns; eat off the plate with knives and forks; repeat until satiated.
Anyone had much contact with the entire Walden Farms brands? [NOT the low-fat division, these are no-carb.]
Also try the maple syrup on ham, chocolate sauce over whipped cream [splenda and some extract of vanilla, almond or orange added].
Most of the Walden Farms stuff DOES resemble something we might call food containing carbs, and the sweetened stuff is a LOT more intensely sweet than the Atkins Brand syrups, etc. [The marinara sauce is a stretch and the Scampi sauce is useful to invent alternate-universe meals.]
