Some good mixed with some bad, IMO. Some of the same old Atkins stereotypes remain (nutrient definciency, kidney problems, etc).

IMO, the only reason the low glycemic is recommended is because it's the newest, doesn't have the Atkins eat-bacon-all-day stigma and because one of the experts quoted in the article probably has a book coming out soon. It's really nothing more than Atkins OWL or maintainance, but hte media never talks about that, only Induction. The Atkins diet has become synonomous with the Induction phase in the popular media who refuse to see things for what they are, rather focusing on whatever will create the most waves and sell the most copies or ad space.

This article is along the right track, but serves to furthur confuses most folks.
