I had been on Atkins for about 9 months and lost a bit over 50 lbs. when I moved on to OWL. I was ready for it by then. My weight loss had slowed down quite a bit and I was ready for more choices and to do OWL right. So far it's been a good experience. My fitday is showing evidence that I do best losing at 33 grams of carbs. Cottage cheese caused lbs symptoms. Nuts stalled me. My weight loss has actually stepped up a bit since doing OWL. My advice is that if you're happy at induction levels and it feels good go ahead and stay there until you get closer to goal. If you're ready for more choices move on. But if you do go through OWL, even if you don't follow Dr. Atkins' recommended order of adding foods, it is a good idea to add one new food at a time to see how it affects you.
