I make yogurt all the time with half-and-half plus cream. (I guess that'd be more like 3/4-and-1/4, actually.) It's so unbelievably creamy and good.
I use a few spoonfuls of the last batch as a starter, and have a Donvier yogurt machine which makes the whole process extremely convenient.
