That's about right: the caffeine in coffee seemed to increase blood glucose, and the chlorogenic acids in coffee seem to slow the absorption of glucose from the gut into the bloodstream.
In both tests, the test subjects were given a big dose of glucose, something I hope Atkins dieters are avoiding like crazy.
