Marfan is a rare condition. I have a friend who nearly died from it. She was feeling wierd and decided to get checked, and a doctor went the extra mile to check her heart and realized she had an opening that was too large and was about to rupture and they immediately took her into surgery. It was very nerve wrecking. I had to keep her kids for a while cause she couldn't carry the baby for 3 months after the operation.

She's lucky to be alive.
