just as an example- tonight my friends and i went to a place where you pick out your food then they cook it in front of you on one of those big grills. i could have indulged in all the sweet sauces, and the higher carb choices, but instead, as a treat for being SO good, i allowed myself to just eat a lot of the allowed foods! this was very satisfying for me.
when it comes down to it, do you really WANT those foods anymore? i know at least for me, when i think about "cheating," its not really the foods themselves i miss, but what the foods represented: comfort and stress release. i have a feeling that if i were to eat them, i would not enjoy them NEARLY as much as i think i would. do you not like the food you eat on this WOL? i suspect that you do... if you do, indulge in a new recipe! indulge in some low carb cheesecake.
if you don't relate, by all means, go for it and happy birthday but as everyone has already said, think about it carefully before you do it!
