I was going to suggest the very same thing. I read the original 1972 DANDR, then read Atkins for Life. If I wasn't already sold by reading the original, Atkins for Life really did it. It's excellent advice about how to maintain a healthy, low-carb (as in no junk food type) lifestyle.
I really think Karen hit the nail on the head, too.
