Default Glutamine, or not to Glutamine...

Is it worth taking? I have some decent delayed onset muscle soreness, hasn't bothered too bad, but on weeks where I do my LBWO twice, it does make it a bit more difficult to do the HIIT.

I've been using Optimum Nutrition Protein Powder, and taking some extra vit c in the am, after workouts, and at bedtime. Haven't really been doing the insulin spike thing, not sure how many carbs I would have to eat to do that. My post workout meal usually consist of the above protein powder, carb countdown milk (8 oz) or kefir (8oz), and blueberries (05. to 1 cup)

Carb seem to be between 60 to 80, sometimes a little more. Not sure if the whole insulin spike to decrease cortisol and get more protein into the muscle thing works, and if it would be benificial in one on a lower carb diet. Protein's been around 170 gm from all sources (at least 150 or so from meat, dairy and whey proteins), and with the remainder as fat.

Oh yea, and what the cheapest (by dose) glutamine powder that would be worth using?

Thanks for all the help!
