hi daisie,
i'm sorry for your loss--i totally know what it feels like to lose a pet. i agree with diana-O and groove jock. you should just drink lots of water and go for a run or something. the whole emotional eating thing just isn't good. i try not to do that either. running really helps me get rid of any emotional issues i may have--especially when i'm angry...i take it out on the tennis ball. eating is just a monetary emotional compensation that gratifies you only for a short time...you know?
