Default Baked Breakfast Custard

Hi and welcome

Do you like old-fashioned baked custard? My grandmother used to make it. Here's a breakfast recipe I adapted from that memory.
1/2 cup whipping cream
1/4 cup whey protein powder
1/2 teaspoon stevia
1 1/2 cups soy milk
1 2/3 cups cottage cheese
1/8 teaspoon salt
3 eggs, beaten
1 tsp vanilla
1/8 teaspoon nutmeg
1/4 teaspoon cinnamon

Combine milk, protein powder, stevia and soy milk. Add eggs and beat well. Place five custard bowls in one inch of water in a baking pan. Spoon 1/3 cup cottage cheese into each bowl. Pour in the liquid mixture, dividing evenly. Give each bowl a stir. Bake at 300 in the pan of water for one hour.

protein 17.6 g
carbohydrates 4.6 g
fibre 1 g
effective carbohydrates 3.6 g

If you use soy milk instead of the whipping cream
protein 17.8 g fibre 1.3 g
carbohydrates 4.4 g effective carbohydrates 3.1 g

You can make this as a dessert by leaving out the cottage cheese. Use four bowls instead of five.
