Meled, I never count cheese, but pay attention when I cook that I use only non-fat or low fat. I think I often have more than 1 oz plus a yoghurt plus some grated cheese over meat. In general, SBD is not into counting. I take low fat cheese as protein, and have done well with it. USe 11/2-2 cups per day if you like to count, but as long as you stick to low fat, you will be fine without counting.

When you buy cheese, you get the calories per oz and calories from fat per oz. Most cheese runs around 120/80. Jarlsberg lite is 75/30 - 80/35, and I also buy part skim Mozzarella which is usually 80/40 - I never go higher because I love to eat a lot of cheese.
