IMHO, you should be eating til' you're satisfied, but not too full. That's what atkins says, anyways. If you want to count calories, then most say to stick to 10-12 times your weight, and to refigure your calories as you lose weight. So, 2000 should be okay for you. But if you aren't losing, you should think about eating less (works for me at least.)
