Hi,
I just want to echo some of the thoughts above...
Atkin's has been a very successful program for me. It is hard to imagine going out to dinner-having salad with real blue cheese dressing, veggies, and steak and call it a diet ! However- By following Atkin's plan, I have gone from 388 to 294 in less than 8 months.
Additionally, my lipid profile, insulin levels, and fasting blood sugar are greatly improved. (Lipid profile says that I am now 1/2 Average cardiac risk). This improvement has occurred thru dietary changes only, no cholesterol lowering agents !
Stay on induction and see what happens. I think you will be amazed.
