Being 19 probably helps alot. You have a better metabolism and havn't had as much time to damage it.
I agree that even lowering carbs can help out tons. The only thing I'd say is cut out the french bread becaus eit is exreamly high GI and keep going with what works. You might add fruits and veggies for overall health though, which could also help increase energy and general well being.
