My scale seems to have a short term memory, I can step on it 5 times in a row and it will give me the same weight, but if I step on it just 10 minutes later, it will give me a different weight.

I'm guessing it's just as unreliable as most other digital scales, but it has that short term memory to trick you into thinking it isn't fluctuating.
