Thumbs up 7 day cheat free challenge

Welcome to the “7 day cheat free challenge”. Our goal is to do the very best we can do for 7 days, WE CAN DO ANYTHING FOR 1 WEEK! At the end of the week we will tally the total # of cheat free days for the week and ADD that # to our GRAND TOTAL of cheat free days. There will be NO MORE going back to day 1 because we had a little bump (or huge mountain) in the middle of our LCing road. We worked very hard for those days and deserve to keep and display them proudly.

The main objective of this challenge is to boost our morale and belief in ourselves. This is our opportunity to celebrate our victories, praise ourselves for making it 1 more day, because 1 more day brings us that much closer to our ultimate goal of being the healthiest we can be.

The rules/guidelines are very simple:
  • Figure out your plan for the week (this can stay the same from week to week or can be customized on a weekly basis, it’s your choice) and then post your plan on Sunday.
  • Do the very best that you can do for this one week, remember it’s only 7 little days.
  • On Saturday post the total # of days (0-7) that you were cheat free, something positive you did through the week that helped you to achieve your # of cheat free days, and if you would like your numbers added to the monthly chart.
  • ABSOLUTLY NO NEGITIVE, SELF-ABUSIVE POSTS WILL BE PERMITTED. IF YOU ARE FOUND GUILTY OF BEING MEAN TO YOURSELF, YOUR FINE WILL BE TO POST TWO POSITIVE THINGS ABOUT YOURSELF FOR EACH NEGITIVE THING SAID.
If you would like to continue the challenge for another week, start over at rule # 1.

An example of this challenge would be:

Sunday: Post your Plan

During the week: Post your day…both the good and the bad. Please remember to be nice to yourself, a little slip or even a huge binge doesn’t make you bad, useless, disgusting, lazy, weak or a failure. It makes you human!

Saturday Post: I was cheat free for 4 days this week, what helped me this week is that I took bottled water and a healthy snack with me to run errands so I wouldn’t feel the need to stop for fast-food. Add me to the chart. (whatever you want to say, you get the idea)

Month before total of 28 days
Week 1: 7 days
Week 2: 5 days
Week 3: 6 days
Week 4: 2 day
Month total: 20 days

Grand Total: 48 cheat free days

At the end of every month (4 full weeks of Sunday – Saturday) we will have a little party to celebrate our victories, whether it be 1 day or 28 days we should be very proud of our accomplishment.
