it took me 8 days before I lost anything initially.

I suggest upping your veggies. Try to stay between 15-18 carbs a day with the majority coming from veggies. Thats at least 3 cups worth, also make sure you are drinking your water and LOTS of it. Bacon and ham are both very high in sodium and nitrites. You may want to watch your intake of those, maybe increase your fat intake some and make sure you are eating at least 1200+ calories.

You can try www.fitday.com to track your meals, fat to protein ratios etc.

good luck and seriously give it time. It will take a while, but the health benefits (aside from weight loss) are also well worth it.
