Hmm... I've worked as an RN in CCU for 3 years now, and I have NEVER seen anyone come in with pancreatitis related to low-carbing. I have seen it related to either diabetes with uncontrolled (high) blood sugar or alcoholism. In fact, I've been a nurse for 8 years in a variety of settings and I've never seen any patient come in with health problems related to a low-carb diet. I have seen plenty of people who lost a lot of weight though, LOL!
