It seems to have some interesting properties given that it is one of few natural MCT sources. Its utility in something like an ultimate diet 2.0 for potentially helping to speed the transition to fat oxidation is kind of interesting.

From the few studies I glanced at, I think the intake would need to be something ridiculous like 50% of total cals coming from mct's to give a substantial benefit though metabolically.

Calorie balance is stil where it is at! Laws of thermodynamics are surprisingly difficult to manipulate! I get a lot more from refeeds and cho overfeeds than I ever have by supplementing with a different type of fat lol.
