We use this all the time for our BFL pre-workout shakes, and it doesn't taste too horrible with water. But it's best with proper full cream milk, says Gez, and I agree. We put some glucose powder in it to help with energy during the workouts, but the sweetness really improves the shake too. You could probably use a teaspoon of Splenda instead.

The whey protein is not the best thing I've ever eaten, but I rely on it when I need to get some LC protein in fast. When I know the day is going to be hectic, I carry a shaker and some powder and just find some tap water to mix it up.
