The funny thing is, every one of those foods is allowed and even encouraged(although not necessarily in those quantities) on low carb, many even on induction and nutritionists decry how unhealthy low carb is, but when it's phrased this way here you have a dietetic association stating how healthy these foods are and how we should all be eating them.
Many of the foods he lists are high in antioxidants, vitamins, minerals and other phytochemicals. The fish is a good source of omega-3 fatty acids.
I disagree with his recommendation of soy since many people, especially those with thyroid problems, should avoid soy products.
The recommendation for "1/2 handful of pumpkin a day" did conjure up some interesting images for how one would measure that, though.
