You know I was thinking about this last night. I have never done anything like this in my life, and I am VERY interested in a marathon, but I do not have the slightest clue how to go about getting the proper information. I live in Iowa, and I am sure that there is not one even close to where I live, but it is a dream of mine, and I have already lost 31 pounds, and this summer I will weigh much less. I have it as a goal to start running, and that is what I will be doing. I think a marathon would be a great motivation for me. Any idea on where I might find info on the upcoming marathons? Thanks
