I'm the same way. But no matter what diet I'm on, I tend not to lose weight unless I count calories.

However, for me the advantage with Atkins is that my appetite is much, much less than on a high carb diet. And my cravings are far less.

So, sometimes you just gotta face the music and realize that Atkins for some of us isn't an "all you can eat" diet.
