L-Carnitine helps with the metabolism of fat and is a good supplement for heart health, as well. The lady at the health food store, whom I know very well, said it is most effective if taken on an empty stomach, so that is what I do.
I take 1000 mg. of Chromium Picolinate per day. It helps with sweet cravings, for one thing...helps curb them.
