Squats followed by lunges and deadlifts is a killer!
Doesn't get much harder than that ...
I wouldn't change a thing, what you are doing is pretty demanding. If you are looking to take it up a notch, maybe add step-ups. They are torture.
If you are working in a gym, after you are done the heavy leg stuff, but before calves and abs ... try doing leg extensions.
but do them like this:
Select a weight on the machine (say ... 50 lbs.) Lift it up with both legs, but lower it SLOWLY with only one leg. Use every fiber in your being to resist that weight. If it drops like a rock, it's too heavy. :smile:
Alternate legs on each rep until you do 5 on each leg.
So it would be:
both legs lift
right leg lowers for a 5 count
both legs lift
left leg lowers for a 5 count
That was 2 reps. Keep going ... you're doing great ... Looks good ... LOL
