"Medical experts have long expressed reservations about the safety of the Atkins diet, a subject that resurfaced Tuesday with a published report that Atkins was obese and had a history of heart problems when he died."
Oh, yes. Please throw that in, without including the pertinent facts that he wasn't obese when he was admitted to the hospital and the fact that the heart problems were the result of a virus, not diet.
Based on the way this reporting is done, I guess I'll start the rumor that being admitted to a hospital will make you obese, given the fact that Dr. Atkins wasn't before admission. The fact it was caused by failing organs, replacement fluid and medication is totally irrelevant.
