Default Easier-than-ziploc ice cream...

I have been doing this for a while, and it sure is easier and less messy, as well as cheaper (ziploc bag prices are highway robbery!). Simply put 1/2 cup cream mixed with sweetener and about a tablespoon of cocoa powder (I don't measure) in a container in the freezer. Every 15 minutes or so, open freezer and stir mixture. Within an hour you have smooth, luscious ice cream. No cold fingers, no salt, no ice! And of course it doesn't have to have the cocoa powder; I sometimes freeze it plain (just cream, no sweetener) and add a spoonful of sugar free blackberry jam--wonderful! Sometimes I freeze it in the carton; then there isn't even a dish to wash!
